Pitstop

Suddenly, when 2 good friends bump into your house, you feel taken away - oh yeas, time just sped away. We went to the beach, got an ice cream, talked, took photos, and planned a quick get-together with all the peeps we could get from our old class.

Nice when you was home, feeling bored. But still, I have loads to do, just didn't wanted to do it! Room's a bit more tidied up, I've been shopping a few things for school, and some creative things for small projects. Also got some wellness stuff, 2 piece of clothes on mum's bill - happy face.

Now, it's not entirely good weather here right now, but wedensday was nice, so took mum's advice and went a little trip around the block to shoot photos of flowers and other stuff - so here's a few photos.

'Hyggesokker' - really lovely when my feet are cold <3

I personally love the small curly shapes it sticks out.

Love to zoom in on the details, give it a shot - click it!

What's for dinner?

Bubbly, green.. gross?!

Helped mother with paella, tasted reaaaally good *yumyum*
+ Had a fab running trip yesterday, with no breaks!!!

The Past Days

Olsen Banden

Hello!
I've been absent for the past days, and it was quite nice to get out. Sunday eve I traveled for an hour to a friend. We went to a fireplace where some of her friends were, plus her twinbrother. It was quite cozy.

We then took the train next day, to our friend from school. There I was until Wednesday - we went out swimming the first day, and got some sort of tortillias for dinner, and watched Prince of Percia at night-time. Thought I was going to pass out (didn't get much sleep the last night, because, apparently, there drives big mother-ass trucks next to my friend's house), but I didn't! :D The movie was awesome. Only heard about it before as a video-game though.

Second day we went out in town, enjoyed the sun, thinking about the bad choice I made with taking large pants on... bought some nail polishing, 3 Tintin movies - love Tintin, one of my favourite cartoons from my childhood, and still is. Tintin, Simbad Søfaren (danish name) and Duck Tales are my top favourite. The new ones stinks.
When it was eve, we went to watch a movie in the cinema, Bad Teacher. Never heard of it before, but it was fun, and we had a good time. At night we watched a movie my friend bought yesterday, Chocolat, with Johnny Depp love|love|looove. It was a great, not typical, movie, which is much recommended. Watch it.

The next day, was going home day. I got a shower, we had some food, packed our stuff (or  well, I packed my stuff, my friend had barely unpacked... typical for her), and we drove away, to my friend's dad's house. (their parents are separated) We dropped off our stuff, and got in town to buy something I couldn't get yesterday, which I of course forgot to take with me, when I was going home. What a tard I am! I barely forget stuff, so call me bigtard. Oh well, she's sending it to me. :-)

It went good on my trip home. Had to catch 2 trains, the first one I only had to sit in for 16 minutes. That train was lovely. The other one wasn't as good as the first, but still really nice. I read some Harry Potter, listened to some music, and bam, I was home. Traveled  almost across whole Jutland! Took almost 4 hours.

My room is now a mess. Clothes on my desk, and on the floor - not in the closet. Stuff like bags and bodyshampoo is lying around, also a couple of DVD's. Need to tidy up soon.

Tomorrow I'll have to pack again, too! You should think I would get over with this packing and unpacking, since I've finished Boarding School. But oh no - arr, can't complain, gonna spend a nice week in sunny SPAIN! :-)

As you should know, I'm a great Harry Potter fan. I'd love it if it would all be real, the world of Harry Potter is just so creative, so magical, such a blast. Tonight it is the premiere for the last film - and I am of course following it live, do so too? http://www.youtube.com/harrypotter?x=us&feature=ticker It's cool to see all the stars, and all the nice fans!

Was out running today again. It was tough... but you know, I have to do this! (It was also pretty hot today... plus, a lizard entered our home. Also saw one out running.)

Shooting around

Click images to see them bigger!

As you can see, I got my new camera today - Canon EOS 600D, and it is LOVELY. I love finding a great motive, and try to do my best with taking a couple of photos, switching a few settings. There's loads to learn. With the package there, thank god, followed a great manual and 1 CD containing another web-manual. I have also installed following programs, which I got too: Zoom Browser EX, Picture Style Editor, EOS Utility, Digital Photo Professional. That is photo viewing, editing, and importing. I guess that sort of sums it up.

I also bought a memory card, which works perfectly. I think it is a Kingston, if I remember correctly, but I'm unsure. The bag I bought from Canon is also great - now I'm ready to start off shooting! Wanted this for so long, so it makes me happy.

My room, or at least the floor, still looks messy. Clothes, bags, books and other stuff are lying around - I don't know where to put it, yet. Hope the weather is more lovely tomorrow, it was all grey today, but still hot though.

Also planning a trip with a friend, visiting a friend for a couple of days! Look forward to it already, have never visited her before. She's from my school.

It's all clean - almost

An almost perfect rose in a milk-bottle..
Yesterday I spent almost the entire day, smacking all the dust out of my room, and packing my stuff out of all the bags. I guess I'm almost done with that, and I'm quite satisfied. I like what I see.

I sit in my red bed (which is also a sofa), and watch my wall, filled with wallpapers, such as Muse, Dúnè, Friends, and many, many more... it looks so cool. On my desk there is an old milk-bottle, containing the red, beautiful rose, which I got from my gala-partner at school. It looks adorable, although it have lost some of its leaves.
To the right, I have my 3 shelves: two red ones, and a tiny black one - matches my little red table, and my red bed. On my shelves there are tons of stuff; books (ie. my very loved Harry Potter), a radio, paintings, jewelry-trees, a football, school-stuff, movies, and other creative stuff I've made at school.

I was going to blog all this last night, but I was really tired - plus, my mom sort of convinced me to go out for a walk. It was actually really nice to get out and see my town again on walking foot. We felt the cold water of the sea at the beach. I really can't wait till I'm going to swim there - I love swimming.
My mom had pluck my grandmother's favorite flowers at the dam, so we went to her  grave and placed them there. That was my mothers little thought plus birthday present for her.

The last thing I did before I went to bed, was reading more about cameras - I didn't understand much of it, but over time, it has to sit in my head.
I finally ordered an expensive, good amateur camera. It's the new Canon EOS 600D, and it is arriving tomorrowz! Can't wait to get started, to learn the features, to capture GOOD QUALITY photos. I've wanted this for years, and I know I will use this for 10 years or more... my new toy, yes!

So today the program is cleaning my floor, get out on a little running trip for the first time ever (need to be healthier...!) and start on my little 'food project', which my mother and father has given me some years ago. I'll tell you more about that later on :)

Kathrine
