Photos that speaks

Not much to report for today - sung some Singstar, and went for a walk. Also got a great dinner, helped a little with that. Enjoyed to have holiday today - relaxing. Hope you're relaxing too. Remember to take care of what you've been given, because now is the time for you to live!
Also lost some weight! Bit proud. Running trip planned again tomorrow!

  1. you really do have a natural eye for composition.. that is a big plus in photography, so many people do static , set up looking shots. but the placement in your frame is very good. :o) as nirvana said, can't wait to see you progress :) i even had a special viewfinder on mine that was sectioned off in thirds just for composition :o) but that was back in film days... haha we had to wait and develop to see if we got a good shot, not instant like now ;o)
does your camera have a tilt shift setting? THAT is what i want to play with next, i already own 3 fisheye lenses :p

  2. I'm sure I've stumbled over that word, tilt shift setting, but I can't find it anywhere right now. When viewing photos, I can add a fisheye-effect :b reminds me of you, the fisheye!

When I get myself together, I'm gonna read some more, so I can get a hold of shutter, light... such stuff for now, I guess. Thanks for your kind words Brian :-)

  3. mugs, wow! these are terrific! are most of these outside shots at your house/property? i'm sensing a really peaceful feeling when i see the outdoor pics. makes me want to move there. ;) the shot with the white structure and green door is especially striking to me... there's something sort of stark and lonely about it.

keep it up! i check in regularly now and craving a camera more and more for myself as i see what you are accomplishing here. :)

  4. This is not far from where I live, but it is not my property. The place a live is a popular place to have a little holiday visit - when it's season, the town is filled with german people, but also people from Norway, Sweden, and sometimes from England too.

It's really beautiful, when the weather is good. There's some sort of peaceful, open-wide nature out here - but it is also Denmark's National Park. Don't know if we have got more than this one, but if so, this is at least the first. Thanks for your sweet comment nirvana :-)

  5. the tilt shift is a way to play with the focus angle and depth of field, it can make things look "fake" sort of ;o) that is the next kind i want to play with... i actually have a fisheye i can take under water :p i should go out and shoot more, its been a long time, maybe viewing your exploits with your new camera will inspire me too :p
