Flying Days

Crazy how the days have passed me by. I'm so glad that I have so much to keep myself occupied with; barely touched my PS3 since I came home from the castle (boarding school). 


I went out running again today. It does feel good. I've always said no to running, but I need to do this - and I now like it. I can't remember last time I've been this healthy. This day's running trip also went better than the first one. Now let's see how long I can keep this up. 


The food thingy is also off a start now, finally. My parents talked to me and my brother about that, 2 years ago? Never got started somehow... :-) 
Well, the idea is to make 20 recipes by ourselves - 10 we choose, and 10 they choose. If we do this, we can get our license card for driving - them paying. Normally parents (at least in Denmark) get their child this deal: don't smoke and we'll pay. But they know we won't smoke, so why not make it a challenge? By the way, they got the idea from their colleagues. Cough. 


On Sunday eve, I'm going to sleep at a friend, so we can together, visit another friend the next day. Means about 2 hours in train. I'll be home again Wednesday. Really looking forward to getting out, and to see two, lovely friends, from my school. I miss them all!

Shooting around

As you can see, I got my new camera today - Canon EOS 600D, and it is LOVELY. I love finding a great motive, and try to do my best with taking a couple of photos, switching a few settings. There's loads to learn. With the package there, thank god, followed a great manual and 1 CD containing another web-manual. I have also installed following programs, which I got too: Zoom Browser EX, Picture Style Editor, EOS Utility, Digital Photo Professional. That is photo viewing, editing, and importing. I guess that sort of sums it up.


I also bought a memory card, which works perfectly. I think it is a Kingston, if I remember correctly, but I'm unsure. The bag I bought from Canon is also great - now I'm ready to start off shooting! Wanted this for so long, so it makes me happy.


My room, or at least the floor, still looks messy. Clothes, bags, books and other stuff are lying around - I don't know where to put it, yet. Hope the weather is more lovely tomorrow, it was all grey today, but still hot though.


Also planning a trip with a friend, visiting a friend for a couple of days! Look forward to it already, have never visited her before. She's from my school.

It's all clean - almost

An almost perfect rose in a milk-bottle.. 

Yesterday I spent almost the entire day, smacking all the dust out of my room, and packing my stuff out of all the bags. I guess I'm almost done with that, and I'm quite satisfied. I like what I see.


I sit in my red bed (which is also a sofa), and watch my wall, filled with wallpapers, such as Muse, Dúnè, Friends, and many, many more... it looks so cool. On my desk there is an old milk-bottle, containing the red, beautiful rose, which I got from my gala-partner at school. It looks adorable, although it have lost some of its leaves. 
To the right, I have my 3 shelves: two red ones, and a tiny black one - matches my little red table, and my red bed. On my shelves there are tons of stuff; books (ie. my very loved Harry Potter), a radio, paintings, jewelry-trees, a football, school-stuff, movies, and other creative stuff I've made at school. 


I was going to blog all this last night, but I was really tired - plus, my mom sort of convinced me to go out for a walk. It was actually really nice to get out and see my town again on walking foot. We felt the cold water of the sea at the beach. I really can't wait till I'm going to swim there - I love swimming. 
My mom had pluck my grandmother's favorite flowers at the dam, so we went to her  grave and placed them there. That was my mothers little thought plus birthday present for her.


The last thing I did before I went to bed, was reading more about cameras - I didn't understand much of it, but over time, it has to sit in my head.
I finally ordered an expensive, good amateur camera. It's the new Canon EOS 600D, and it is arriving tomorrowz! Can't wait to get started, to learn the features, to capture GOOD QUALITY photos. I've wanted this for years, and I know I will use this for 10 years or more... my new toy, yes!


So today the program is cleaning my floor, get out on a little running trip for the first time ever (need to be healthier...!) and start on my little 'food project', which my mother and father has given me some years ago. I'll tell you more about that later on :)

New beginnings

Which leaves an end.
Summer started just 2 days ago for me. This year it is different; I've lived at a boarding school, not far away from my address. The experience of living together with over 100 people in the same building, making friendship, laughing together, crying together, and learn together, does something to you. It sort of creates you, to who I am right now. It's in my heart and soul for my whole life now, and I will miss that way of living - knowing I might return to it some day, somehow. 


It all ended with traditions, and great parties: a formal gala at school, and the craziest party with all the schoolmates at a booked house. 
My parents are at work, but in 2 weeks they'll have holiday too. To make this a great summer, I have some projects in my head, which this blog will be filled with - that is the purpose! 
First things to do are a tad boring, but they need to be done - get myself together and tidy all my crap up, which is all around the house. It's clothes and things, like a jewelry-tree and a basket for laundry! Next thing is to clean my room, it's filled with dust!
